Our Strategy
This is a representation of the vision that has developed as we have prayerfully discussed the ministry that God has called us to do with the Dutch field, our field representative and the pastors in our team.

It is clear from the New Testament that God wants such a vision to flesh out within the church. So as we narrow our field of vision we understand the ministry in Holland primarily as a church planting endeavor.

In further narrowing our understanding of the ministry in Holland, we have identified specific short and long term goals.

Short term (one year)
-
Inspire churches to renew commitments and pray for missions
-
Attend launch seminar in January 2010 (achieved)
-
Raise 80% of our support by May 2010 (achieved in June)
-
Raise 50% of our outfit and passage by October 2010 (achieved)
-
Raise 90% by end of November (missed by 4.5%; achieved in January)
-
Raise 75% of our outfit and passage January 2011 (achieved)
-
Move to the field fully supported on the third weekend of May
-
Enroll in a language study program in the summer of 2011
-
Be available to run teen camp (July 9-15) in the summer of 2011
-
Enroll Cole in a school for the fall of 2011
Long term
-
Evangelize in many creative ways, specifically through small group evangelistic Bible studies.
-
Utilize Heather's gifts and education to start children and youth outreach programs in our neighborhood.
-
Reach out in ways that are tailored to the needs and opportunities of the community we live in (i.e. schools, universities, library, marketplace, website, counseling, etc.).
-
Write Dutch pamphlets and articles that will inspire spiritual growth in various area of the Christian walk.
-
Continue to lead teen summer camps and expand this ministry to include a young adult retreat weekend at the end of the summer and a teen retreat weekend in the winter season. This ministry also has potential as a launching pad for teacher training workshops and pastor's retreats.
-
Establish a nucleus of believers that is committed to seeing a church planted in their community and disciple them so that they will reproduce themselves and actively engage in the growth of the church.
These goals and strategies are prayerful
statements of things we are asking the Lord to accomplish. We submit all
of this to the Lord and realize that His ways and thoughts are higher
than ours (Is. 55:9) and that He is able to do far more than we could
ever ask or think (Ep. 3:20).
